SUSTAINABILITY AT FEPS

According to the Paris Climate Agreement, we all want to live climate-neutrally by 2045. For us at FEPS, this means taking action now.

Through honest and reliable cooperation between all employees, an open and fair partnership with our customers and suppliers as well as innovative and environmentally friendly solutions, we want to fulfill our responsibility for our common future.

Sustainability is not a static state. It is a permanent process of improvement. We are constantly working to keep the environmental impact of our business and private activities as low as possible. Offsetting CO₂ is not an option for us. We prefer to avoid climate-damaging emissions instead of offsetting them and trust recognized environmental management standards.

Our sustainability strategy runs through all areas, because for us, sustainability means acting in a way that is ecologically sound, socially just and economically efficient in equal measure.

To ensure that ecological and economic goals go hand in hand, we have introduced an environmental management system that is regularly audited by external certification companies. This involvement of external certification companies ensures the continuous improvement of our environmental performance. For us, sustainability also means social responsibility. We support numerous charitable projects and social initiatives.

ON THE PATH TO CLIMATE NEUTRALITY

We use all our experience and technical capabilities to consistently align our corporate strategy with sustainable business practices. We see it as our duty to help shape the protection of the environment as a central task of society and to take responsibility for our future. Climate change has been known for decades.

We do not have a problem of knowledge; what we need now is implementation. We take this task very seriously. In order to continuously check whether we are achieving our ecological and economic goals and how we can improve along the way, it is particularly important to us to validate our environmental management system. We believe, indeed we are convinced, that environmental protection and economic success go hand in hand in terms of sustainable corporate management.

We do not see sustainability as a static state, but as a permanent process of improvement. We have already achieved a great deal on our climate path. But we want more. We want to go further.

OUR ENVIRONMENTAL STRATEGY

Since 2023, we have been working on setting up an environmental management system in accordance with DIN ISO 14001 to analyze the environmental impact of our business activities and to consistently reduce all environmental impacts in all business processes with targeted organizational measures.
